Paul: A Biography

As you know by now I am a huge fan of Tom Wright and this greatly anticipated new book from Tom Wright does not disappoint.

Written in an easy reading, engaging and through provoking way Wright leaves out the academic arguments and ivory tower discussions to present a book on Paul.

Having studied the New Testament for years and having read a lot of texts on Paul this one for me is the one I would recommend to my students. Where others get caught in academic text, scholarly debates that are neither necessary or helpful to the everyday Christian, Wright presents a book that makes you engage with, re-think and fall in love with the apostle Paul.
